ABOUT Masala Papad RECIPE

Crisp fried papad topped with onions, tomatoes, spices and paneer.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2-3 papads
  2. 1/2 cup onion chopped
  3. 1/2 cup tomatoes chopped
  4. 1 green chilli finely chopped
  5. Paneer cut into very small pieces (garnish)
  6. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  7. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  8. 1/2 red chilli powder
  9. 1 tsp chaat masala
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Coriander leaves for garnish
  12. Oil for frying papad

Instructions

  1. 1.In a bowl add all the ingredients- onion, tomatoes, green chilli, lemon juice & all the masala. Mix it well. Make this masala filling just before frying the papad.
  2. 2.Take the papad. You can take large or even medium ones. Heat oil in a kadai fry the papad. There is no need to brown the papad. Take it out remove the excess oil with the help of paper napkin. Add the masala filling on the fried papad. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves & very small pieces of paneer.
