About Khadim Pak Recipe

Khadim pak is made using fresh coconut and milk. It is very delicious,chewy and nutty . First time I know about this recipe from a great chef Sheetal. Khadim Pak gets its name from the person who first made it and originated from the coastal town of Mangrol in junagadh. Fresh coconut taste is heavenly awesome..

Khadim Pak

Ingredients to make Khadim Pak

  • 1 fresh coconut around 1 cup grated
  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • chopped pistachio and Almonds to Garnish
  • DRY rose PETALS TO GARNISH
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 1tbsp chopped cashews

How to make Khadim Pak

  1. In a bowl Great fresh coconut.
  2. In a pan on medium flame boil milk until it reaches thick consistency.
  3. In another wok heat ghee and add cashew.
  4. Now add grated coconut and roast it for 2 minutes on low flame.
  5. Now add roasted coconut and cashew in milk.
  6. Mix it.
  7. Add sugar and mix it continue till sugar has mixed well.
  8. It's moisture has evaporated and coconut is change in pale brown Colour.
  9. Turn off the flame and transfer the content into a greased thali.
  10. Sprinkle some chopped pistachio,almonds and dry rose petals. Press gently with spoon.
  11. Once khadim pak is cooled down,cut it in square or in any shape.

My Tip:

We can add 1/2 cup Mawa too.
