Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Vermicelli 1 pack 150 gm
  2. Recotta cheese 1/2 cup
  3. Orange food color 1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar 1/2 cup
  5. Water 1/4 cup
  6. Butter 2-3 tbs
  7. Saffron 7-8
  8. Cardamom 2
  9. Chopped pistachios for garnish
  10. Slivered almonds 2 tbs

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1/2 CUP SUGAR
  2. ADD 1/4 CUP WATER
  3. MAKE ONE STRING SUGAR SYRUP
  4. ADD 7-8 SAFFRON
  5. ADD 2 GREEN CARDAMOMS. KEEP A SIDE
  6. CRUSH THE 1 PACK OF THIN SEVAYI(VERMICELLI)
  7. ADD 3 TBS BUTTER. MIX WELL
  8. DIVIDE INTO TWO PART
  9. MIX ORANGE FOOD COLOR INTO ONE PART OF VERMICELLI
  10. NOW MAKE LAYER OF COLORED VERMICELLI IN A CAKE TIN
  11. SPREAD EVENLY
  12. SPREAD 1/2 CUP RECOTTA CHEESE OR MAWA
  13. SPREAD SOME SLIVERED ALMONDS
  14. NOW MAKE A LAYER OF RESERVE VERMICELLI
  15. BAKE IT AT 180°C FOR 15-20 MINUTES
  16. LOOSE THE EDGES & DEMOLD IT
  17. SPREAD THE WARM SUGAR SYRUP EVENLY
  18. GARNISH WITH SOME CHOPPED PISTACHIOS
  19. ENJOY THIS AMAZING DESSERT
