Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 litter milk
  2. 1/4 cup sugar ( for milk )
  3. 1/4 tablespoon crushed green cardamom
  4. 1/2 cup grated Coconut
  5. 1/4 cup sugar ( for sttufing )
  6. 1/4 tablespoon crushed black pepper
  7. 2 cup suji or rava
  8. 2 and 1/2 cup water
  9. 2 tablespoon sugar ( for dough )
  10. 1/4 tablespoon salt
  11. Few chopped almond for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Fast boil the milk and add sugar stir well
  2. When it reduced 1/4th of milk add crushed green cardamom and let it cool
  3. Meanwhile boil water add sugar
  4. Then add salt and bring to boil
  5. Now add suji or rava
  6. In between stirring well , make sure that there will be no lumbs , cover a lid and keep aside for cool down
  7. In between we should prepare stuffing , in a plate add grated coconut , sugar and crushed black pepper and mix well , keep aside
  8. Now knead the dough well with the help of your palm , if nessesery then add few boil water also
  9. Now dough is ready to prepare modak
  10. Now take small portion of dough and give round flat shape and sttuf coconut and prepare modak
  11. Now modak is ready , prepare all the dough
  12. Now steam cook for 10 minutes in slow medium flame , lastly dip in milk
  13. Garnish with some chopped almond and serve cool or hot
