ABOUT Stuffed mushrooms RECIPE

Lip smacking appetizer, mushrooms stuffed with cheesy filling, dipped in flour batter and deep fried to crisp crunchy.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Mushrooms 16-18
  2. All purpose flour 2 tbsp
  3. Corn flour 1 tbsp
  4. Finely chopped onions 1 tbsp
  5. Finely chopped capsicum 1 tbsp
  6. Grated cottage cheese 2 tbsp
  7. Grated mozzarella 2 tbsp
  8. Salt 1/2 tesp
  9. Black pepper powder 1/2 tesp
  10. Italian seasoning 1 tesp
  11. Ketchup 2 tbsp
  12. Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  13. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. CLEAN MUSHROOMS AND REMOVE STEM.
  2. SCOOP A LITTLE TO ENLARGE THE CAVITY FOR FILLING.
  3. TAKE 1 TBSP EACH OF FINELY CHOPPED ONION AND CAPSICUM, 2 TBSP EACH OF GRATED PANEER AND MOZERALLA.
  4. SEASON WITH SALT, BLACK PEPPER AND ITALIAN SEASONING.
  5. ADD 2 TBSP KETCHUP.
  6. MIX WELL.
  7. FILL CHEESE MIXTURE IN SCOOPED MUSHROOMS.
  8. JOIN TWO MUSHROOMS TOGETHER AND FIX WITH A TOOTH PICK.
  9. IN A BOWL TAKE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR AND CORNFLOUR.
  10. ADD SOME SALT AND MAKE A SLURRY USING WATER.
  11. DIP JOINED STUFFED MUSHROOMS IN FLOUR SLURRY AND COAT WITH BREAD CRUMBS.
  12. PREPARE ALL MUSHROOMS AND REFRIGERATE FOR HALF AN HOUR.
  13. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL.
  14. WHEN CRISP AND GOLDEN REMOVE TO A KITCHEN TOWEL.
  15. SERVE WITH CHEESE DIP.
