Cook toor dal in a pressure cooker along with cleaned and cut colocasia roots and kokam for 3 whistles
Grate the coconut and grind it with turmeric powder, red chilli, tamarind and water into a fine paste and it to the cooked toor dal
Hit slightly the Tefhal spice in a mortar and pestle and add it to the curry
Once the curry has boiled add jaggery and salt
