ABOUT Traditional coconut laddoo RECIPE

This is the traditional south Indian recipe of coconut laddoo. Its very tasty and yummy.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 2 cup grated fresh coconut
  2. 1 cup khoya (unsweetened )
  3. 1 and 1/2 cup grated juggeri
  4. 1/4 spoon cardamom powder
  5. 1 spoon ghee
  6. 2 spoon chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine the grated juggeri and little water in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Heat the pan until the juggeri dissolves completely.
  3. Now add grated coconut and crumbled khoya, mix well without any lumps.
  4. Let the mixture starts cook on a midium flame.
  5. When the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan than add ghee,almonds and powder.
  6. Stir continously until you get a thick mixture.
  7. Remove it from the heat and allow it to cool.
  8. Now divide the mixture into round shape balls and make laddus.
  9. Garnish with chopped almonds coconut laddoo is ready.
