Ingredients to make Coconut Cookie

  • Dalda (cold)-- 1 cup
  • powder sugar- 1 cup
  • maida- 1 cup
  • coconut powder- 1 cup

How to make Coconut Cookie

  1. Beat dalda and sugar till light and fluffy.
  2. Sieve the maida and add to the butter and sugar mixture, mix well.
  3. Now add coconut powder ,combine well and make a dough.
  4. Dust the platform with little maida ,roll and cut into desired shape.
  5. You can also make small balls and press them.
  6. Arrange on a baking tray and bake for 13 minutes at 180 degrees.
  7. Remove once it cools and enjoy the melt in mouth cookies with tea or any time.

My Tip:

Dalda should be hard. Keep in fridge for 3-4 hours before making the cookies. You can also use butter.
