Mutton curry with lot of spinach is a mughlai delicacy.taste of mutton with goodness ofspinach is a popular ni dish of North India.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton 500grams.
  2. Spinach 400grams.
  3. Ginger garlic paste 2table spoon .
  4. Turmeric powder 1table spoon .
  5. Red chilly powder 1table spoon .
  6. Coriander powder 2table spoon .
  7. Garam madala powder 1table spoon.
  8. Coriander leaves 1/2cup.
  9. Green cardemom 2.
  10. Cumin seeds 1tea spoon .
  11. Cloves 2.
  12. Cinnamon stick 1".
  13. Bay leaves .2
  14. Oil 150.ml.
  15. Onions 3nos.
  16. Curd 1/2cup.
  17. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Slice onions .kepp aside.
  2. Clean and wash mutton.keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.add all whole garam masala,when starts splatter add sliced onuon and fry to golden brown .add mutton along with curd.
  4. Cook on high flame till water dries.add ginger garlic paste ,mix well and cook on medium flame till water dries.
  5. Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder and salt .stir.
  6. Cookon low flame till oil separates .
  7. Add 1cup water and pressure cook pn hogh till one whistle.
  8. Put off flame and let be pressure released.meanwhile clean and wash spinach and shred it.
  9. After pressure release ,open pressure cooker.now the mutton is like this.:point_down:
  10. Add garam masala powder and stir well .cook for 2_3minutes to obtain a thick gravy.
  11. Add shredded spinach.
  12. Mix well ,close the lid and pressure cook on high flame to 2whistles.
  13. Let pressure release .open the lid ,add coriander leaves and mix.
  14. Dish out and serve with plain rice /roti/ parathe.
