ABOUT Homemade Moulded Chocolates RECIPE

An easy recipe to enjoy homemade chocolate bites!

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 250gms Milk chocolate
  2. 250gms Dark chocolate
  3. 1/4 cup Toasted almonds
  4. 1/4 cup Toasted cashewnuts
  5. 1/4 cup raisins
  6. Silicon chocolate moulds of different shapes
  7. Chocolate wrapping sheets

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the Milk chocolate as well as the dark chocolate.
  2. Combine the two together and place in a dry bowl on top of a double boiler, stirring frequently to combine as chocolate melts.
  3. Alternately melt in the microwave, stirring the chocolate at 1 minute intervals, for a total of 3-4 minutes.
  4. Make sure that whichever bowls you are using to melt chocolate are completely dry, else the chocolate will seize.
  5. Take off heat once chocolates have melted and combined together completely.
  6. Fill a silicon mould halfway through with a teaspoon of melted chocolate and place an almond or cashew or raisin in the middle carefully.
  7. Fill up remaining carefully so that the nut or raisin is completely submerged and not visible.
  8. Fill all moulds this way.You can use different moulds for different flavours/ nuts.
  9. Carefully tap the moulds so that there are no air bubbles.
  10. Transfer to a flat tray and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  11. Unmould the chocolates, they will come out easily.Wrap individually in wrapping sheet.
  12. Enjoy home made chocolates or gift them to your loved ones!
