About Sabudana khichdi Recipe

A very easy n tasty version of sabudana to have as for breakfast nd for Fasts where grain ceresls r not allowed. A mix of sabudana peanuts nd potatoes with flavour or curry leaves n green chilles gives a very tasty n spiced up taste.

Sabudana khichdi

Ingredients to make Sabudana khichdi

  • 250 gms sabu dana
  • 3 big potatoes
  • A hand full of peanuts
  • 2 green chillies as per taste
  • Cprriander to garnish
  • 2 tbsp rice oil if possible better

How to make Sabudana khichdi

  1. Soak sabudana for at least 3hrs in water just enough to dry up stir gr a
  2. Boil potatoes cool and cut or mash into small pieces.
  3. Chop Green chillies finely or keep whole with slit as you choose to use
  4. Now heat oil well, add jeera to splutter and then add peanuts.
  5. Now add potatoes green chillies and stir for 2 mins.
  6. Add the sabudana now on slow flame.
  7. Mix all well for 2 min, sprinkle little sugar (optional ) and mix well
  8. Serve hot with garnish

My Tip:

Do fresh as to eat tastes best
