ABOUT Rum balls with chocolate sprinkle RECIPE

These sweet and chewy treats are a mixture of crumbled cake with chocolate and rum.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 300g Chocolate cake
  2. 60g desiccated coconut
  3. 60ml Rum
  4. 60ml Condensed milk
  5. 1/4 cup Mixed nuts(Almonds cashews) toasted and chopped
  6. 1/4 cup Raisins
  7. Chocolate sprinkles as needed

Instructions

  1. Crumble the cake into cake crumbs.
  2. Mix the cake crumbs, rum, coconut, nuts, raisins and condensed milk in a bowl and combine well.
  3. Roll a spoonful of the mixture into balls and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  4. Roll the ball in a plate of chocolate sprinkles and press them gently so they stick
  5. Serve or refrigerate before serving
