Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2Kg chicken
  2. 1 big cup Curry Leaves
  3. 2 medium size onions
  4. Small piece of ginger
  5. Few garlic cloves(6 to 8)
  6. 1 tsp of Fennel Seeds
  7. 3 cardamom
  8. 6 cloves
  9. 1 medium size cinnamon stick
  10. 1/4 dry coconut or coconut
  11. salt according to taste
  12. Red Chilli powder
  13. turmeric powder
  14. 1/2 tablespoon dhania powder
  15. oil


  1. Firstly take 1 medium size onion, 1/2cup curry leaves,ginger, garlic, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, coconut, fennel seeds, blend them together and make it a paste.
  2. Secondly take another onion and chop into small pieces. Take a frying pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil and add these chopped onions and stir fry little.
  3. Thirdly add chicken pieces into the frying pan and sauté for 3 mins on medium flame.
  4. Into the pan add the paste and fry it for 5 mins. Add little water if required.
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, dhania powder to the pan.
  6. Take another 1/2 cup of curry leaves and chop into small pieces or you can take the help of Mixer by using whiper option twice or thrice.
  7. Add the chopped curry leaves to the curry & stir fry for 2 mins.
  8. Now close the lid and keep it for 20 to 25 mins until the chicken gets cooked completely. You can add little water if you want gravy. Check the curry in between and need to be stirred.
