ABOUT Pasta in white sauce RECIPE

This is basically an Italian dish made with pasta as the main ingredient

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Butter (1 cup)
  2. Maida or all purpose flour (1 cup)
  3. Milk (4 cups)
  4. Oregano (as needed)
  5. Chilli flakes (as needed)
  6. Capsicum (1 small chopped)
  7. Black olives (4-5 chopped)
  8. Boiled Sweet corn (a handful)
  9. Carrots ( optional )
  10. Penne pasta ( 2 cups)
  11. Salt (as required)
  12. Black pepper (if needed as required)
  13. Water (to boil the pasta)
  14. Cheese ( optional)

Instructions

  1. First take a vessel and add the pasta and add enough water to immerse the pasta. Keep the flame in medium. Allow it to boil until the pasta is cooked.
  2. Heat a pan in another burner and add the butter to it. Lower the flame and let the butter melt well. Once the butter is melted, add the maida or all purpose flour into it. Meanwhile check if the pasta is cooked. Drain the water, keep aside.
  3. Mix it very well because it might form lumps. Break the lumps and start adding the milk little by little. Once u finish adding the milk, mix it well and make sure there are no lumps. Allow the sauce to boil well.
  4. Now add the chopped capsicum, boiled sweet corns, chopped carrots, chopped black olives, oregano, chilli flakes, salt and pepper into it. And allow the veggies to cook a bit. Once they come to a boil add the cooked pasta to it.
  5. Toss the pasta well until it gets coated with the sauce. Finally add grated cheese on the top and give a stir and put off the flame. Yummy pasta in white is ready to be served. ;)
