ABOUT Baked potato RECIPE

Baked potato is very easy ,delicious melt in mouth recipe that you can enjoy as a snack, or even for breakfast and lunch, as it is very filling dish. And baked potato needs very few ingredients to make.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Medium sized potatoes 2
  2. Olive oil 1 teaspoon
  3. 1 teaspoon of salt
  4. Butter 2 teaspoon
  5. Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon crushed
  6. Shredded cheese 1/4 th cup
  7. Red capsicum diced 1 tablespoon
  8. Green capsicum diced 1 tablespoon
  9. Chopped parsley 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash potatoes nicely. Rub with kitchen towel to dry.
  2. Prick the potatoes with a fork on every side.
  3. Rub the potatoes with salt and olive oil.
  4. Preheat oven at 180 degree Centigrade for 10 minutes.
  5. Bake the potatoes in a baking tray for about an hour or till potatoes become light golden brown and soft. Check by inserting a toothpick in the potatoes.
  6. Take out them oven and keep aside for 5-8 minutes to cool the potatoes slightly.
  7. In the meantime make a stuffing by mixing shredded cheese, diced capsicum, parsley and black pepper.
  8. Take the potatoes, make slits across the centre, slightly press from both sides so that you can make some free space in the center of the potatoes.
  9. Add 1 teaspoon of butter in each potato.
  10. Place 1 tablespoon of prepared stuffing in the center of the potatoes .
  11. Bake again these potatoes in preheated oven at 200 degree Centigrade till cheese melts. Serve immediately with some chutney or dip.
