Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Fish Makhani (leftover ) 300 grams
  2. Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Cold butter 1/4 cup
  5. Cold milk as required or 1/4 cup
  6. Fried onions 1/2 cup
  7. Cilantros for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take whole wheat flour in a wide bowl .
  2. Add salt and mix till well combined .
  3. Add the butter reserving a tablespoon only for later use .
  4. Mix . Combine butter and flour completely till the flour looks crumbled .
  5. Add cold milk gradually while kneading to a soft dough .
  6. Cover the dough and rest for 20 minutes .
  7. Now transfer the dough to the kitchen counter and roll the dough to a thin large sheet .
  8. Spread melted butter throughout the thin sheet .
  9. Start folding the sheet from one side towards another in small pleats like fan .
  10. Roll the long roll into a large spiral disc .
  11. Use a rolling pin and spread this disc into a thin large sheet .
  12. Use a round cookie cutter or a small glass to make equal round coins .
  13. Use the leftover dough too similarly .
  14. Heat a iron skillet .
  15. Now place these coins on the hot skillet .
  16. Toss sides quickly until golden spots are visible .
  17. Butter Coins are ready .
  18. Arrange these butter coins on a serving plate .
  19. Grease coins with butter .
  20. Place a tablespoon prepared fish Makhani dry on every butter coin . See that the fish Makhani is warm .
  21. Top the Makhani with fried onions .
  22. Top the fried onions with fresh Cilantros.
  23. Buttery Fish Makhani Coins are ready .
  24. Serve hot .
