Ingredients to make Atta Pancake With Lemon Butter

  • For making atta pancakes :-
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 3 teaspoon water
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped blanched spinach
  • 1 medium sized onion finely sliced
  • 1 red chilli chopped
  • 2 teaspoon salted butter to cook
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste
  • For making lemon butter :-
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 30 grams salted butter at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes
  • salt to taste

How to make Atta Pancake With Lemon Butter

  1. 1. Shift whole wheat flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl.
  2. 2. Add milk gradually add whisk.Add a little water and whisk to a smooth batter without any lumps.
  3. 3. Add chopped spinach,sliced onion and finely chopped red chillies and mix.
  4. 4. Rest the batter for 10 minutes.
  5. 5. To make lemon butter, soften the butter in a bowl.Add a little salt.
  6. 6. Now add 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest into the bowl.
  7. 7. Then add in lemon juice, chilli flakes and crushed black pepper and mix well.
  8. 8. Place the butter on a piece of aluminium foil.
  9. 9. Roll it.
  10. 10. Twist the two ends.Keep it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set and harden.
  11. 11. Cut into slices with or without the foil while serving.
  12. 12. Heat butter in a non-stick pan.
  13. 13. Spread a ladle full of batter into a round pancake.
  14. 14. When the underside gets cooked, turn it over.
  15. 15. Cook the other side similarly.
  16. 16. When done take it out in a plate.
  17. 17. Atta Pancake is ready to serve. Serve hot with lemon butter.

Taste bests when hot.
