Ingredients Serving: 2

  2. semi boiled pototoes 4no
  3. Corn flour or cornstarch – 3 tbsp,Cashews – 1 tablespoon, chopped
  4. green chili paste 1tb sp,salt for taste,oil for deep frying
  5. For Puree:
  6. onion 2no,tomoato 1 no
  7. ginger – ½ inch piece Garlic – 2 cloves
  8. cashew nuts – 5-6 Water – ½ cup
  9. for gravey:
  10. oil – 1 tablespoon
  11. cinnamon stick – ¼ inch piece
  12. red chili pawdr 2sp , haldi pawdr 1sp,coriander powder 2sp
  13. FRESH cream 2TBSP


  1. first smashed potatoes add green chili paste add some corn starch and salt as per you need ,mix it all and make small round shape balls of it n deep fey theses balls till they get brown n then keep aside. now for gravy make a
  2. secondly make a puree of tomatoes onion ginger garlic cashew nuts with some water then make smooth puree out of it using blender or grinder
  3. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat,Once hot add , cardamom and cinnamon stick. Fry for 40 seconds, you will get nice aroma of spices
  4. Add prepared puree, sprinkle salt and mix Let it cook till all the moisture is evaporated. and it starts to leave the sides of the pan. While cooking, it may splutter. You can partially cover the pan with lid
  5. Then add red chili powder and coriander powder. Mix well and cook for a minuteThen add water. Mix well. Adjust the water quantity as per your liking gravy consistency. Let it simmer on low-medium for 5 minutes
  6. Turn off the stove. Gravy is ready. Keep it covered.add koftas to the gravy and serve it Add the kofta at the time of serving. Once kofta are added, it must be served immediately. Otherwise kofta will get soggy.
