Butter coconut prawns

Ingredients to make Butter coconut prawns

  • 250 gm prawns cleaned
  • 2tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp dessicated coconut
  • 2 garlic crushed
  • 3 birds eye chilli/green chilli
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2cup flour
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • salt to taste

How to make Butter coconut prawns

  1. Marinate the prawns in pepper powder and salt for 15 minutes
  2. Dust the marinated prawn in flour seasoned with salt and pepper then fry it till crisp.
  3. Lightly toast the desiccated coconut until golden brown
  4. In a pan add butter, crushed garlic , curry leaves and chillies saute it then add fried prawns and toss with desiccated coconut..
  5. mix well and serve
  6. You can also roll these prawns in chapati or tortillas with the spread of mayonnaise and serve as roll
