Paneer Butter Masala is everytime favourite recipe

Ingredients to make paneer butter masala

  • 200 gram paneer
  • 2 medium size red tomato roughly chop
  • 10 to 12 cashew nuts
  • one tablespoon Shahi jeera
  • one baylief
  • one cinnamon sticks
  • One green chilli finely chop
  • 3-4 garlic close Crush
  • half inch ginger crush
  • half tablespoon Dhaniya coriander powder
  • one tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • one tablespoon Garam masala
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • salt as your taste
  • sugar one tablespoon
  • fresh cream to tablespoon

How to make paneer butter masala

  1. in a pan melt one tablespoon butter
  2. add Shah jeera and fry for few second
  3. garlic ginger and fry for few second
  4. Now add cashew nuts and fry for a minute
  5. Add tomatoes and sauté on high for a minute. Cook until tomatoes are soft
  6. now, take it off the heat and cool completely
  7. Grind the butter masala gravy to a very fine paste. 
  8. melt 3 tablespoons of butter ina pan or kadhai.
  9. add bay leaf and cinnamon stick, fry for few seconds
  10. Then, lower the heat and add spice powders (except garam masala) and kasuri methi, fry for few seconds 
  11. Now, add butter masala gravy, saute on high for a minute. Stir in between
  12. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until masala starts releasing the oil.
  13. Now, add little water depending upon the consistency of the gravy you need. Do not add too much water at a time. Bring it to a boil. Add cream and mix.
  14. Cook for a minute.
  15. cut the Paneer in square or triangle shape
  16. Add paneer, garam masala powder and sugar. Mix well. Cook for only a minute
  17. before serving Paneer Butter Masala spread some fresh cream
  18. Paneer Butter Masala is ready to serve.
  19. Serve it with paratha Naan or Tandoori Roti
