ABOUT Egg Butter Masala RECIPE

This recipe can serve with plain rice, biryani, paratha, roti, pulao, jeera rice etc.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Egg 2 piece
  2. Butter 1/2 - 1 cup
  3. Onion 2 piece (1 Chopped and 1 for puree)
  4. Garlic 10 piece
  5. Ginger 1/2 "
  6. Tomato 1 large
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
  9. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Red chilli powder 1 spoon
  11. Cumin powder 2 spoon
  12. Sugar 1/4 spoon
  13. Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  14. Fresh cream 1 spoon

Instructions

  1. In a pan take egg and water. Boil egg.
  2. Prick boil eggs with the fork
  3. In other pan take butter and Heat.
  4. Add the boil eggs and roast them until golden in colour. Set them aside..
  5. Then add onion, garlic, ginger, tomato, and salt .saute 2 - 3 minutes.
  6. Cool them and add to a mixer with small water. Grind it to a smooth puree.
  7. Again add butter.
  8. Add cumin seeds. When it crackle then add chopped onion and roast it till become golden brown colour .
  9. Then add turmeric powder and red chili powder.
  10. Now pour the puree, cumin powder, sugar , garam masala powder and cook it till oil separates.
  11. Add warm water and salt .
  12. Now add fried eggs. Cover with lid and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
  13. While gravy thickens, add fresh cream and cook for 2 minutes.
  14. Turn off heat and add 1 spoon butter.
  15. Serve hot with plain rice.
