Besan Chakki

Ingredients to make Besan Chakki

  • gram flour (besan) 2 cups or 250 grams
  • sugar 1.5 cups or 300 grams
  • ghee 1 cup or 250 grams
  • cashew 50 gram
  • pistachio 1 tablespoon
  • almonds 50 gram
  • 1 teaspoon green cardamom powder

How to make Besan Chakki

  1. finely chopped cashew, almonds, and pistachios
  2. take a mixing bowl add gram flour and 69 grams ghee mix it well
  3. add little little water and make a very tight dough
  4. now make small small balls with dough
  5. now take a frying pan put remaining ghee in that
  6. fry the gram flour balls on low heat till golden brown
  7. now let it cool down
  8. then grind it in a mixer like a powder
  9. now put sugar and 1 cup water in a pan make 1 string syrup
  10. now add gram flour powder that we grind in that syrup
  11. add cashew and almonds in that
  12. let it mix until leaves the pan
  13. take a plate apply oil and spread the mixture on that
  14. garnish with chopped pistachios let it set for 20 minutes then cut
