Palak Paneer

Ingredients to make Palak Paneer

  • 400 gram palak(spinach)
  • 150 gram paneer
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 3 medium size tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chilly
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder

How to make Palak Paneer

  1. clean palak (spinach) and wash very well
  2. take a saucepan put 2 glass water make it hot and off heat
  3. put palak(spinach) in it and let it soft for 5 minuets
  4. now remove spinach from water let it cool down
  5. put spinach in a mixer grinder and grind it make a smooth paste
  6. cut green chilly finely
  7. cut paneer in cubes
  8. cut onion and grind in a mixer make a paste
  9. cut tomatoes and make purée
  10. put a pan on heat add butter and oil together let it hot
  11. add ginger garlic paste and green chili sauté for 1 minuets
  12. not put onion paste and on medium heat cook till pink colour
  13. now put read chilly powder and cook for 1 more minutes
  14. now add tomatoes purée and cook till mixture start living pan
  15. now add salt and spinach paste give a good mix on low heat
  16. cook for 2-3 minutes add paneer cubes give again a good mix cover it with a lid
  17. cook on very low heat for 2 minutes
  18. then off heat serve with any Indian bread or punjabi special tanduri roti

My Tip:

If you want to fry paneer you can fry no need to put any other masala otherwise spinach taste will melt with masala taste
