Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. moong dal 100gms
  2. khoya 100gms
  3. sugar 110gms
  4. water 100ml
  5. ghee 80gms
  6. pistachio for garnish
  7. cardamom powder 1 tsp
  8. kesar strands few


  1. 1. Wash and soak moong dal in water for 5 to 6 hours .
  2. 2. Drain all the water and grind it in mixi without any water.
  3. 3. Take ghee in a pan and add the grinded dal and cook till get golden color. It will take about 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove from fire and roast khoya in another pan till lite golden.Add it into dal mixture.
  5. 5. Take sugar , water and kesar in a pan n cook till sugar melts and add to the dal mix and cook it till thicken. Add cardamom power .
  6. 6. Transfer it to a well greased plate and garnish with pistachio.
  7. 7. Let it set for 2 hrs then slice in square and serve.
  8. 8. Can be stored upto 5 to 6 days in refrigerator.
