Sometimes there is nothing better than a simple soup to satisfy the soul. I have always loved soup and still do.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 (medium) Big Onion (finely chopped)
  2. 3/4 tablespoon Butter
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoons Cornflour
  4. 2 3/4 soup bowls of Milk (boiled)
  5. 1/4 cup Vegetable stock
  6. Salt, to taste
  7. 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons Pepper (black or white)
  8. 1 1/2 tablespoons Cheese
  9. 2 teaspoons Fresh Parsely (finely chopped) (adjust as per taste) {optional}

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pot and add chopped onions and saut'e till golden brown
  2. (make sure it is browned and caramelized well) Add boiled milk and simmer for a few minutes
  3. Add cheese along with pepper, salt and freshly chopped parsely and stir well
  4. Now add vegetable stock and mix well
  5. At this time, add cornflour and stir well till it starts thickening
  6. (be sure to get rid of any lumps) Serve hot with sandwiches (chicken, egg or any filling of your choice) or as it is.
