Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup of all-purpose flour
  2. 2 pinch of salt
  3. 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
  4. 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  5. 1/2 Cup butter, room temperature
  6. 1/2 oil
  7. 1 Cup powder sugar
  8. 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  9. 1/2 Cup Milk, hot
  10. 2 pinch red food colour
  11. Whipping cream - Garnishing / decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat pressure cooker using salt. Lightly grease cake tin. Line bottom with parchment paper, or dust lightly with flour.
  2. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder, Baking Soda.
  3. Beat butter and powder sugar until fluffy and light in color. Gradually add oil, curd, vanilla. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
  4. Pour batter into prepared tin.
  5. Bake until cake springs back when lightly touched, about 35 minutes. Let cool in the tin for 10 minutes before inverting onto wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Garnish or decoration with whipping cream and enjoy.
