Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Hilsa or Elish 100 gm
  2. Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon
  3. Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
  4. Salt 1 tablespoon
  5. Poppy seeds paste 2 tablespoon
  6. Mustered seeds 2 tablespoon
  7. Cashew nuts paste 1 tablespoon
  8. Green chilli paste 2 tablespoon
  9. Green chilli 2 pcs
  10. Curd 2 tablespoon
  11. Mustered oil 3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate Hilsa or Elish with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, curd, poppy seeds paste, mustard seeds paste, salt, green chilli paste and 2 tablespoon mustered oil.
  2. 2. Keep it for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Take a box and greese it with mustered oil and place marinated Hilsa or Elish in the box.
  4. 4. Place green chilli in it.
  5. 5. Place a Kadai in the flame.
  6. 6. Place 1 cup of water in the Kadai and place the box in the kadai.
  7. 7. Steam Hilsa or Elish for 15 minutes.
  8. 8. When colour becomes change it is ready to serve.
