Sweet Seviyan

Ingredients to make Sweet Seviyan

  • Seviyan 170gms
  • sugar 1 cup
  • water 2cup
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2tsp
  • Sliced almonds 2tbsp
  • oil 2 to 3 tbsp

How to make Sweet Seviyan

  1. Break the seviyan. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green cardamom powder and seviyan. Saute it till golden brown in colour on a medium flame.
  2. Now add water and sugar to it. Cook covered on a low flame till it is done and water is absorbed.
  3. Add sliced almonds to it and mix well.
  4. Serve it with fried spicy potatoes and papad.

My Tip:

You can also add saffron to it. Check the sweetness. Do not overcook it.
