Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup gram dal
  2. One tsp garlic paste
  3. 1/2 tsp green chilli paste
  4. 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  5. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 2 pinch of asafoetida
  8. 1.5-2 cup wheat flour

Instructions

  1. Soaked 1 bowl gram dal,Then add all spices.1.5-cup wheat flour 1/2tsp salt. Mix well. It can also be made with rice flour. Gradually and water and make a soft dough. Dough is ready, take a portion of dough dust it with plain flour. Roll it into Poori shape our stuffing inside apply little water on the edges fold it gently press the edges. Fara are ready to steam greas the tin with oil place all the fara in the steaming tin ready for streaming. Once the water starts boiling place the tin inside streamer very carefully. Close the lid and steam it for high flame. Remove the lid , take it out from the steaming pot. Then cut 1 inch pieces take a Pan add 2 tbsp oil when hot it put asafoetida ,cumin seed chopped , onion ,garlic, green chilli and fara pieces fry it one minute. Fara is ready to serve
