Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Catla fish 1 (medium size,cut into slices)
  2. Grated coconut 1 cup
  3. Shallots 4
  4. Green chilli 6
  5. Curry leaves 2 sprigs
  6. Chilli powder 11/2 tablespoon
  7. Coriander powder 1/2 tablespoon
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Kudampuli 3 pieces

Instructions

  1. Cut and clean fish into thin slices
  2. Grind coconut, chilli powder, coriander powder and shallots to a smooth paste by adding little water.
  3. In a clay pot add cut fish pieces, ground coconut paste,kudampuli,slit green chillies and salt to taste.
  4. Add two sprigs of curry leaves on top
  5. On a medium flame let it cook for 15 minutes
  6. Check if the fish is cooked properly
  7. Turn off the flame
  8. Zero oil Authentic, Traditional Thenga Aracha Meen Curry is ready.
  9. Serve hot with rice,tapioca etc
