Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Oats/Rolled Oats- 1/2 cup
  2. Little millet/Saamai- 1/2 cup
  3. Salt- 2 pinches
  4. Brown sugar-1 tblsp
  5. Egg-1
  6. Milk- 1/2 cup
  7. Apple- 1 medium sized
  8. Baking powder--1/2 tsp
  9. Baking soda1/2 tsp
  10. Oil- 1 tblsp + to grease waffle iron


  1. Dry roast rolled oats and little millet separately till slightly fragrant and let it cool a bit..Grind to a fine powder..
  2. Peel one apple and make a puree out of it..Take the flour,baking powder, baking soda,salt, brown sugar,egg, oil, milk and apple puree in a bowl..
  3. Mix well so that there are no lumps...Heat the waffle iron and spray oil ...Pour the batter in the waffle iron and cook for 4 to 5 minutes..
  4. Take out and enjoy with maple syrup or honey and fresh fruits of your choice..

if you using egg then how it wud b a veg recipe?? can v replace egg with some other thing:???
