Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Potato stuffing- 3/4 cup
  2. Besan flour -1/2 cup
  3. Rice flour- 2 tblsp
  4. Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  5. Salt as needed
  6. Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  7. Hing/Asafoetida-1 pinch
  8. Baking soda -1 pinch
  9. Oil for spraying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add besan flour/ kadalai maavu, rice flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder,hing, baking soda and salt. Make a thick paste with water.
  2. Make balls out of the potato stuffing .Dip the balls in the besan flour mixture and line them in a greased baking tray. Spray little oil on top too.
  3. Bake at 375 F for 25 minutes (in toaster oven).Since every oven differs, keep an eye at last 5 minutes. So that we don't get brown bondas.
  4. Serve hot with chutney
