Many of you might have heard about honey chilli fingers but the added twist of Schezwan sauce just enhances its taste !! Schezwan honey potatoes are hot , spicy , crispy fingers with a glaze of honey and chilli sauce..They are so very scrumptious and easy to make at home without any expertize.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 large : potatoes peeled and cut into fingers
  2. 2 tbsp : corn starch divided (1tbsp+1tbsp)
  3. oil for Deep frying
  4. 1 tbsp oil
  5. 2 tbsp : Schezwan sauce
  6. 1 small : onion sliced
  7. 2 cloves : garlic chopped
  8. Few juliennes of Mixed peppers
  9. 2 sprigs of Green onion chopped
  10. 1 tbsp : honey
  11. 1 tsp : Soy sauce
  12. 1/8 cup water
  13. A pinch of Ajinomoto (optional)
  14. 1/4 tsp : salt
  15. 1 tsp : Toasted sesame seeds


  1. Peel and cut the potatoes into fingers and dust them with a tbsp of corn starch .. Meanwhile prepare oil for deep frying ..
  2. Once the oil is hot add the coated fingers to the oil and deep fry until crispy and golden on medium heat..
  3. Later drain them on a paper towel and set aside until use..
  4. In a pan add a tbsp of oil ..once its hot add the sliced onion and chopped garlic and saute for couple of mins..
  5. Next stir in the julienned peppers and saute them for a min ..
  6. Next add the schezwan sauce, soy sauce, ajinomoto, salt and stir ..
  7. In a bowl take the remainining tbsp of corn starch n dilute it in a 1/8 cup of water without any lumps..
  8. Now add this corn starch mixture to the sauces and cook until slightly thick..
  9. Now stir in the honey , chopped green onions n mix well..
  10. Lastly add the crispy potato fingers and combine with the gentle as fingers might break..
  11. Now turn off the heat and serve with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds !!
