Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Suji...1 cup
  2. Besan....1 table spoon
  3. Curd 1/2 cup
  4. Water...1/2 cup
  5. Sugar...2 tea spoon
  6. Oil....1 table spoon
  7. Turmeric powder....1 pinch
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Green chillies....1, finely chopped
  10. Eno...1 sachet
  11. Ginger 1 inch piece, finely grounded
  12. Tomato sauce
  13. Oil to fry
  14. Red chilly powder to sprinkle only

Instructions

  1. Make a lump free batter of besan, suji, curd and water
  2. Also mix ginger, salt, turmeric powder, green chili, sugar and 1 tea spoon oil
  3. Grease the plate in which dhokla is to be made
  4. Put 2 glasses of water in cooker, remove whistle
  5. Add Eno with few drops of water in the batter and pour on the greased thali
  6. Now steam for 10 minutes or more
  7. Remove in dish plate, let it cool down, and cut pieces
  8. Now fry these in hot oil and serve with tomato sauce and sprinkle red chilly powder
