Ingredients to make Potato Fritters

  • 2 Aaloo
  • 9-10 tablespoon besan
  • 1 tablespoon ajwain
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 5-6 garlic ke kaliyan
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for frying
  • 2 tomatoes
  • hing a pinch

How to make Potato Fritters

  1. For home made tomato chutney, wash and chop tomatoes.
  2. In saucepan, put little oil, add hing, salt, red chilly powder.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook for about 10-15 minutes until tender.
  4. Peel aaloo and take out fine aaloo slices and wash them.
  5. Apply pinch of salt on each of the aaloo slices and keep it aside for about 5-10 minutes.
  6. Peel garlic ke kaliyan and grate them.
  7. In bowl, add besan, ajwain, red chili powder, black pepper powder, salt, grated garlic, water to make thick batter.
  8. In kadai, add oil, dip each of aloo slices in besan batter.
  9. Fry them till golden brown from both sides.
  10. Serve Potato Fritters with home mde tomato chutney.
