This is a perfect recipe to put together for a snack when you have surprise visitors at home. The main ingredient for this recipe is cooked rice. Cooked rice is mixed with veggies and spices and is deep fried. The rice pakoras come out very crispy and is a perfect way to make use of that little leftover rice. Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup leftover rice
  2. 1 cup grated carrot
  3. 1 cup chopped beans
  4. 1 cup chopped capsicum
  5. 2 chopped green chilli
  6. coriander leaves
  7. 1/2 cup sweet corn
  8. 1/2 cup grated cheese
  9. to taste salt
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 tsp dhania powder
  13. 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  14. 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  15. 4 tsp besan
  16. 1 tsp corn flour

Instructions

  1. First of all take the leftover rice in a bowl then add grated carrot, chopped beans,chopped capsicum,chopped green chillies, coriander leaves,sweet corn, grated cheese to it.
  2. Then add salt,haldi,red chilli powder, dhania Powder, amchur powder,ginger paste to it.
  3. Then add 4 tsp besan and corn flour as per consistency. Then mix all by mashing them and give round shape or any shape you like.Then dip fry them and enjoy with green chutney and tomato sauce.
