Spicy, crispy, flavourful stuffed capsicum rings serve as a snack or side dish with roti and rice.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Boiled and mashed potatoes 2
  2. Salt 3/4 tesp
  3. Red chilli powder 1/2 tesp
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4 tesp
  5. Coriander powder 1/2 tesp
  6. Garam masala 1/4 tesp
  7. Ginger 1"
  8. Green chilli 1
  9. Bread crumbs 2 tbsp
  10. Oil 3-4 tbsp
  11. Chopped onion 2 tbsp
  12. Chat masala 1 tesp
  13. Lemon juice 1 tesp

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 BOILED AND MASHED POTATOES. ADD 3/4 TESP SALT, 1/2 TESP RED CHILLI POWDER.
  2. ADD 1/2 TESP CORIANDER POWDER, 1/4 TESP EACH OF TURMERIC AND GARAM MASALA, 1 TESP GINGER CHILLI PAST
  3. ADD 2 TBSP BREAD CRUMBS AND MIX WELL.
  4. STUFFING IS READY.
  5. SCOOP OUT THE CENTRE OF A LARGE CAPSICUM.
  6. CLEAN INSIDE.
  7. FILL THE POTATO MIXTURE IN CAPSICUM TIGHTLY.
  8. PRESS TIGHTLY.
  9. CUT THE STUFFED CAPSICUM IN THICK SLICES USING A SHARP KNIFE.
  10. DUST THE SLICES WITH CORNFLOUR ON BOTH SIDES.
  11. SPREAD 2 TBSP OIL ON HOT TAWA .
  12. PLACE CAPSICUM SLICES ON TAWA.TOP WITH SOME OIL AND LET IT COOK FOR 2 MINUTES ON MEDIUM HEAT.
  13. FLIP AND LET COOK ON OTHER SIDE.
  14. DRIZZLE SOME OIL AND FLIP AGAIN.
  15. COOK CRISP AND GOLDEN ON BOTH SIDES.
  16. REMOVE FROM TAWA.
  17. TOP WITH ONIONS, CHAT MASALA AND LEMON JUICE.
  18. ENJOY!!
