ABOUT Pomegranate Raitha RECIPE

Fruity raitha which goes well with any pulao or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pomegranate kernels-1\2 cup
  2. Thick yogurt-1\2 cup
  3. sugar-1\2 tsp
  4. Red chilli powder-1\4 tsp
  5. Roasted cumin/jeera powder-1\2 tsp
  6. Chaat masala-1\4 tsp (optional)
  7. salt/sendha namak- a pinch
  8. Coriander leaves- to garnish(optional)


  1. Cut open pomegranate and separate the red kernels.
  2. Take yogurt, chilli powder, cumin powder, (chaat masala if using),sugar and salt in a bowl. Mix it well it sugar dissolve.
  3. To it add the kernels and mix well ,reserve few for topping.
  4. Top it with some chopped coriander leaves and the kernels.
