ABOUT Coconut Chocolate Cake (Eggless) RECIPE

Coconut flavoured chocolate cake is a delicious chocolate cake with a suttle coconut flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wholewheat flour 1 cup
  2. Cocoa powder 1/3 cup
  3. Dessicated coconut 1 cup
  4. 2 cup sugar powder
  5. Oil 3 tbsp
  6. Baking soda 1/3 tsp
  7. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Milk as required
  9. Vanilla /chocolate essence 2 tsp
  10. Choco chips 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients.
  2. Add half of the choco chips and mix well.
  3. Add oil and milk to make a thick batter.
  4. Add vanilla /chocolate essence and mix.
  5. Meanwhile, preheat the oven /convection mode of the microwave at 180 degrees.
  6. Now, grease a baking pan.
  7. Pour the batter in the greased baking pan.
  8. Sprinkle the rest of the choco chips.
  9. Tap the pan to remove any air bubble.
  10. Bake the cake for 35 minutes.
  11. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick in the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is baked well, if not, then bake for another 10 minutes
  12. When done, take the pan out of oven and let it sit for some time.
  13. Then take out the cake from the pan and let it completely cool on a wire rack.
  14. Cut pieces of the cake only when completely cool.
