About Boiled rice. Recipe

Rice gives instant energy.In boiled rice starch is discarded in form of liquid,so it becomes more benificial.It improves bowel movement and is gluten free.

Boiled rice.

Ingredients to make Boiled rice.

  • Normal rice.2cups .
  • water 2litres.
  • lemon juice 1/2tea spoon.

How to make Boiled rice.

  1. Wash and soak rice for 10monutes .
  2. Boil water in a pan.when boiled ,add soaked rice.
  3. Add lemon juice.
  4. Cook on medium flame for 10_12 minutes(though cooking time depend on variety of rice.)
  5. Aftet 10_12minutes check the rice by pressing one grain with fingers .if it feel soft ,rice is cooked,if not pressed easily by fingers then cook more minutes.
  6. Drain in a clander and keep back into the pan/vessel.
  7. Serve hot.

My Tip:

Adding lemon juice will help rice to appear more white.
