Being a foodie,I always experiment to create different makeover of wellknown dishes.This time I have tried leftover rice manchurian gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Leftover cooked rice...1cup
  2. Green chilli...5
  3. Finely chopped onion...1
  4. Garlic paste...1tspn
  5. Finely chopped cabbage...2cup
  6. Grated carrot...1cup
  7. Finely chopped spring onion...1cup
  8. Tomato sauce...5tspn
  9. Soya sauce...1tspn
  10. Red chilli sauce...1tspn
  11. Kashmiri red chilli powder(for colour)...1tspn
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Corn flour...3tspn
  14. Oil

Instructions

  1. Make a paste of left over rice & green chilli.
  2. Now make a dough of rice paste, finely chopped cabbage, spring onion, salt & tomato sauce.
  3. Make small balls.
  4. Make a paste of rice flour & a pinch of turmeric powder.Dip the Manchurian balls in it & deep fry it in hot oil.
  5. Manchurian balls are ready.
  6. For gravy, heat 1tspn oil & add finely chopped onion & garlic paste.Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Add all vegetables & salt.
  8. Add green chilli, tomato sauce, red chilli sauce & soya sauce.
  9. Make a paste of cornflour & water & mix it to the mixture.Cook it for few minutes.
  10. I don't like food colour, so I used kashmiri red chilli powder for colour.Add Manchurian balls, mix it to gravy & switch off the flame.
  11. It's ready to serve now.
