ABOUT Baked Fusion Rasmalai Tart RECIPE

To celebrate Rakshabandhan..I have made Rasmalai for my brothers and the next day..I had few of them left so just thought how could i use this and make innovative...Got an idea to bake it in tart...so here is my receipe for baked fusion rasmalai tart. And thia has come out perfect and yummilicious....

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. All purpose flour 1/2 cup
  2. Butter 2 tbsp
  3. Sugar 1 tsp
  4. Ice cold water 2 tsp
  5. Kesar strands few
  6. Pistas few
  7. Ras malai 8 pieces
  8. Rabdi 2 cups
  9. Rose dried petals 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. In the mixing bowl,add all purpose flour,butter,sugar and form a crumble texture...
  2. Then add little chilled ice cold water and form a soft dough.
  3. Cling wrap it and refrigerate for 15 min..
  4. Till then preheat oven on 180°for 10 min
  5. Now either make small puris of the dough and spread it evenly in the cup cake mould by pressing with your hands..Or take a small ball of dough and press with your fingers and spread evenly in the baking cup cake bowl
  6. Prick the tarts with fork as much as possible so that they don't swell or bulge on baking
  7. Now place rasmalai in each tart
  8. Add 1 tsp of rabdi on the rasmalai to fill the bowl to 3/4th .
  9. Put kesar strands ,pista slice on the rasmalai and bake for 20 min ..
  10. Serve hot or cold by sprinkling dried rose petals and cherries
