When we make gujiya or Karanji we have to cut extra sides of the gujiya.We use them again n again till ladt round.But when the stuffing is over n we have dough left over, we try our creativity. From such efforts I have made this recipe..

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Left over dough of covering of gujiya 1 bowl
  2. Ghee 1bowl
  3. Powdered sugar 2tsp

Instructions

  1. Mash the dough with hands .Take a small ball of dough
  2. Roll a big puri
  3. Make 4 parts of puri with knife
  4. Make cuts with knife on each part but don't cut wholely
  5. Stick the ends in the shape of butterfly
  6. Heat ghee or oil and deep fry it. First on medium flame and after turning it on low flame
  7. U can serv it with sauce. Or can be eaten with hot tea
