ABOUT Chicken Parmesan RECIPE

When we think of Italian cuisine,all kinds of cheese and herbs come to our mind.Chicken Parmesan is one of those herbs and cheese dish.This dish is prepared very fast so you can impress your guests with dinner in almost no time.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 chicken breasts
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1 cup breadcrumbs
  5. 2-3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  6. 1/2 can Plum tomatoes
  7. 2 tbsp fresh basil leaves
  8. 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
  9. 2 tsp pepper powder
  10. 1 cup mozarella cheese

Instructions

  1. First pound the chicken breasts with something heavy and keep aside.
  2. Beat the egg and keep beside your breadcrumbs.
  3. Add little salt to the egg as well as breadcrumbs.
  4. Now take 1 chicken breast, dip it in the egg and coat it with breadcrumbs.Repeat this step with one more chicken breast and keep aside.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and carefully place both the chicken breasts in a pan.Let it get a little golden in colour.
  6. Now preheat the oven at around 380 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Take a baking tray pour some of the canned tomatoes and place the fried chicken breasts on it.
  8. Pour rest of the tomatoes over the chicken breasts and drizzle parmesan cheese, pepper powder, basil leaves,salt and lastly grated mozzarella cheese.
  9. Keep the tray in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 15-20 min or until the mozarella is slightly browned.
  10. Take the chicken parmesan out of the oven serve it to your guests .
