Potato Pancakes

Ingredients to make Potato Pancakes

  • 3-4 boiled mashed potatos
  • 1 cup multi grain flour (multi grain flour is a flour which contains wheat flour, ragi flour, rice flour and bajra flour)
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 4-5 green chilies finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon zeera
  • oil for shallow frying

How to make Potato Pancakes

  1. In bowl, add multi grain flour, a pinch of salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder and add water to make batter.
  2. In a fry pan, put little oil then add zeera, when zeera gets golden brown then add green chilies.
  3. When green chilies start to change colors, add finely chopped onions.
  4. When onions turn slightly light brown, add mashed potatoes.
  5. Stir fry them for about 3-4 minutes and turn off flame.
  6. On tawa or fry pan place little oil and pour over a little batter of multi-grain atta and make pancake and shallow fry it from both sides.
  7. Then place 2-3 spoons of potato filling on the multi-grain pancake and fold it and serve.
