Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 rice idlis
  2. 1 smalll onion chopped
  3. 1 small tomato chopped
  4. one cup mixed veggies (carrots,peppers,basil broccoli)
  5. curry leaves
  6. 1 green chilli
  7. 1 stem lemon grass
  8. half teaspoon oregano
  9. one teaspoon paprika
  10. salt to taste
  11. 1/8th tspn turmeric powder
  12. 1 tblspn oil
  13. Corriander to garnish


  1. Keep ingredients ready
  2. Heat Idlis in microwave 30 secs and crumble when cool,keep aside
  3. Take a non stick saucepan ,heat oil add curry leaves and onions to saute
  4. Add salt to taste
  5. Add a pinch of turmeric stir and add all fine chopped veggies except broccoli
  6. Stir cook for 3-4 minutes,can cover on low flame too
  7. Add lemon grass ,oregano,basil now
  8. Add 1 tomato chopped
  9. Add paprika here mix well
  10. Add the crumble of Idlis now
  11. Mix well and add 1 cup water,again mix well
  12. Cook 5 minutes mix well,add broccoli pieces and fold in these too
  13. Cook all together 2 minutes on low
  14. Remove in a soup bowl as hot an press well ,turn upside down on a plate
  15. Garnish with corriander
