Besan laddoos are most popular sweet of India,specially in North India.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. besan 4cups.
  2. Desi ghee 1cup.
  3. Powdered sugar 2cups .
  4. elaichi powder 1tea spoon.
  5. almond 15 nos.
  6. walnut 10 nos.
  7. raisins 20nos.
  8. kewra water.1tea spoon.
  9. Few pistachio for garnishing.


  1. Dry grind almond and walnut and keep aside.
  2. Chop pistachios and keep aside.
  3. Heat a heavy bottomed pan/karahi.
  4. Put ghee ,when warm add besan and fry on low flame.
  5. Stir contineously to prevent burning.
  6. Do this for 15_20 minutes till besan starts to giving aroma.add elaichi powder.
  7. Remove from flame and take out in a bowl/thali.
  8. Let it be cool.add sugar powder,dry fruits and kewra water.
  9. Make golf_ball sized laddoos.
  10. Garnish with pistachios.
  11. Serve.
