About Kofta Curry Recipe

Kofta made of leftover flatbread and boiled potato for binding the kofta's.added kasouri fenugreek leaf for aroma.Curry made of onion, tomato,ginger, garlic paste, Mixing curd and meat masala with gravy will help to increase taste. I m sure everybody will follow quite often after cooking once. Delicious kofta curty serve with with fried rice or roti

Kofta Curry

Ingredients to make Kofta Curry

  • Leftover flatbread(Roti) 5 pieces
  • Boiled potato 1
  • tomato 2 pieces
  • Medium size onion 1
  • garlic pod 4/5
  • ginger 1 small piece
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Meat masala 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  • curd 2 tbsp
  • water 1 cup
  • Refind oil 1 cup
  • ghee 1 tsp( optional)
  • Kasouri methi 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • flour 1 tbsp

How to make Kofta Curry

  1. Make small pieces of Roti
  2. Put it in a mixer jar
  3. Take the roti crumbs in a plate
  4. Mix up with boiled potato
  5. Make few round ball( kofta)
  6. Roll the kofta on flour
  7. Put oil in a frying pan for hot
  8. Fry kofta's till golden brown
  9. Make paste of tomato,onion
  10. Add ginger,garlic with tomato
  11. Make paste of it
  12. Heat oil on a pan
  13. Add half methi for seasoning
  14. Add paste, meat masala
  15. Stir for 4/5 mins on low heat
  16. Mix curd and stirr for 4/5 mins
  17. Put water, let bring boil
  18. Cover a lid, keep on low flame
  19. After 5 mins put methi on it
  20. Off the gas stove
  21. Put kofta on a curry
  22. Pour remain curry on kofta
  23. Spread ghee on it if you want
  24. Serve hot with fried rice or roti

My Tip:

Dont use hot boiled oil. You can use leftover potato dish also instead of boiled potao. Fry the kofta on a low flame.
