Fry Balls

Ingredients to make Fry Balls

  • Leftover cooked rice 1 cup
  • Leftover tuwardal 1 cup
  • Leftover Mutton keema 1 cup
  • Chopped onion 1 medium size
  • Chopped tomato 1 small
  • green chillies finally chopped 2
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Whole spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1tsp
  • Termeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • salt per taste
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • oil 3 tbsp and for fry
  • maida 3tbsp
  • Bread crumbs for coating

How to make Fry Balls

  1. Take oil in a karahi and saute onions till golden brown.
  2. Add cumin seeds and green chillies. Now add all dry spices, and tomato, cook until oil separate.
  3. Now add Dal and cook for a minute and add rice, mix well. Let it cool. Then mash it.
  4. Take some portion of khichdi in a palm, flatten it and put some keema on it. Add more portion of khichdi over keema and make a ball.
  5. Add water in a maida and make liquid.
  6. Balls put in maida paste after that put in bread crumbs. Repeat this process...
  7. In the last deep fry it and enjoy with your tea.
