About Ericha Kuzhambu Recipe

Its a special kuzhambu made with using leftover sambar,kootu,rasam,poriyal,varuval etc.,but dont add curd based gravies like aviyal,mor kuzhambu and sweet based dishes like payasam and Milk/Coconut milk based dishes.Some people called it as" sunda vacha kuzhambu"

Ericha Kuzhambu

Ingredients to make Ericha Kuzhambu

  • Leftover Sambar - 1 cup
  • Leftover Kootu -1/2 cup
  • Leftover Poriyal -1/2 cup
  • Leftover Varuval - 1/2 cup
  • Leftover Rasam - 1/2 cup (without residue)
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • red chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • salt -To taste (if needed)

How to make Ericha Kuzhambu

  1. *Heat oil in a kadai ,add the Red chilli powder .Immediately add the all leftover dishes.
  2. *Slighly mash the vegetables and add the salt if needed.Boil it well in low flame.It will thick if you prefer add water and adjust the consistency.
  3. *Switch off the flame.Serve this kuzhambu with Idli / Dosa
